Collaboration Character Mix Voice Mod Creation Tool

• This tool allows you to create a voice mod in which any character you choose from those implemented in WoWS collaborations with other titles speaks during game combat, and install it in the WoWS game client. Creation and installation are done at the same time, and as soon as creation is complete, the game can be launched and the voice mod can be used.
  
• The voice mods created with this tool will be selectable in the Esc key menu in-game -> Settings -> Audio -> Modification pull-down.
  
• This tool is designed to allow GUI operation for specifying options and starting the batch program that actually creates the mod, and the batch program installed with this tool can also be used directly at the command prompt to create the mod.
  
• All the content that the characters speak is in Japanese.

Note: If you are currently using an older version, please use the tool's automatic update function to update to the latest version. Manual overwrite installations using this installer will not carry over existing configuration data.

Voice mod manager

• This tool allows you to edit the setting names of voice mods in the mod folder of the latest version of WoWS. The setting name is the name of the voice setting that appears in the game's ESC key menu → Settings → Audio → Battle voiceover pull-down menu. If there are multiple mods with duplicate names, those voice mods will not appear in the pull-down menu and cannot be selected, but this tool can detect the duplicate names and eliminate the problem.
  
• This tool allows you to move voice mods in the mod folder of an older version of WoWS to the folder of the latest version so that you can use them.
  
• New voice mods can be easily installed.

Please make a new folder, download and run.
This tool automatically downloads other required files at startup. However, depending on the security software you are using, a warning may appear and the download may fail. In that case, please download the following file and use it.

launch_voice_mod_manager.wsf Download Ver. 2.4 (Please note that the file format has been changed from vbs to wsf since 2.4.)
If you cannot run the hta file, download this file, place it in the same folder as the hta file, and then run this file.
After that, you can still run this file to launch the tool.

Features:

1. List voice mods in voice mods folder of WoWS and detect duplicate names
   
2. Rename voice mod setting name and folder name

5. Move voice mod from the mod folder of old version of WoWS to the folder of latest version
   
6. Install new voice mod (the files already extracted in the drive, or the unextracted zip file)
   

Notes:

• This tool automatically detects the version of WoWS even if it is updated, so it can continue to be used without problems as long as changes to the game's resource structure do not affect it.
  
• Voice mods for older versions should continue to work as long as the game's supported voice file format and the definition data structure of voice mod setting file have not changed. However, this tool cannot determine whether they can or cannot be used. Please check in the game's training mode at your own risk before using it in play.
  
• If the game does not recognize the voice mod after using this tool, it is likely that there is something wrong with the voice mod setting file, so either fix it yourself or get the latest version of the voice mod.
  
• The author has confirmed that this tool works properly on Windows10 21H2 and Internet Explorer 9 or later in the HTA execution environment, but we cannot guarantee that it will work properly in any environment.
  
• If you find that the problem is not working properly, we would appreciate it if you could send us detailed information about your environment, the situation, what you did, and what happened, using the feedback form on our website. Collaboration Character Mix Voice Mod Installation Batch Program

• Allow the use of any character selected from the implemented characters of each collaboration for the voices during the battle of the game.

Zoom Out Mod Specificated for Torpedo Fight

The maximum zoom-out can be increased (distant) from the default on the WoWS battle screen.
It is an improvement based on the old version of Yet another zoom out mod.

This is a "more zoom out mod" that can further increase the maximum zoom out.

When you zoom your ship, the image looks distorted, but there is no problem in combat operation.

Features:

During battle, when zooming out the camera in the ship's display state, the maximum zoom-out is further away, that is, the ship's display can be reduced.
This makes it easier to operate the ship and avoids torpedoes approaching. (There are individual differences in whether you feel the effect.)
In addition, the following original improvements have been made.

• Even when switched to torpedo aiming mode, the difference due to the automatic zoom of the camera is made smaller. This makes it easier to avoid torpedoes even in that mode.
  
• During battle, the switching speed with the tactical map screen and the switching speed with the artillery camera (zoom up / binoculars mode) are increased.
  
• During battle, the limit of the depression angle when displaying the artillery camera has been slightly lowered.
  
• You can see the ship from a little closer than usual on the port screen.
  

Notes:

Although operation has been confirmed, it cannot be guaranteed that the system will always operate stably in each user's environment or will always be effective.
Since this mod can no longer be used when the WoWS version is updated, always use the latest version.

How to use:

Please download and place it in the folder of (WoWS installed folder)\bin\(Several digits (larger value))\res_mods with the name of camerasConsumer.xml.

Text Mod Generator

• You can freely create and install text mods that can be used with WoWS.
  
• This tool can create the following text mods. Each mod function can coexist.
  Ship name change mod: You can change the name of any ship.
  Captain name change mod: You can change the first names and last names of captains that multiple registered in advance.
  Collaboration character name change mod: You can change the name of the character of each work collaborated with WoWS.
  Mod to change the text of any part: mod to change the display guide, name of ship equipment, class name, etc.

Features:

1. The text strings displayed in the WoWS game are all databased by language, and since they are binary files, they cannot be edited as they are. This tool can convert the file to a human-readable text file format, edit it, convert it back to binary format, and install it in the appropriate location as a game mod.
   
2. With this tool, you can automatically do all the steps of creating a text mod, except manual editing. If manual editing can be automated with a batch command depending on the content, it can also be executed automatically.
   
3. A copy of each file can be saved in the middle of each step, and that file can also be used as a source file.
   
4. All settings entered in the tool can be saved in a settings file (up to 10) and can be recalled at any time.
   
5. You can analyze the contents of a specified file and output the difference in the list from the default state of the data. The list can also be reused as a mod configuration file.
   
6. When updating WoWS, it is possible to output the difference to the list where text data has changed from the previous version. The list can be used to update the mod configuration file.

Notes:

• This tool can be used even if the WoWS version is updated, as long as the game data structure itself is not changed significantly.
  
• When the WoWS version is updated, the default text database is almost always updated. Based on this, recreate the mod with this tool every time.
  
• This tool seems to be compatible with Unicode / UTF-8 compatible national language game clients, but the author has not confirmed the operation other than the Japanese version.
  
• The author has confirmed the operation of this tool in the environment of Windows10 1903 + InternetExplorer11, but it may not work depending on other Windows versions and IE versions.
  
• In that case, it would be greatly appreciated if you could send us detailed information such as "your environment", "under what circumstances", "what you did" and "what happened" from the feedback section on the website.
  
• Regardless of whether the file has been modified or not, the author will not be aware of any damage caused by using this tool and mod.
