Outline:
- This tool and batch program allows you to create a voice mod that allows any character you choose from those implemented in the collaboration to speak during game combat, and install it in the WoWS game client. The creation and installation is done at the same time, and as soon as the batch is finished, the game can be started and the voice mod can be used.
- The voice mods created in this tool and batch program will be available for selection in the Esc key menu in-game -> Settings -> Audio -> Modification pull-down.
- This tool is designed to allow GUI operation for specifying options and starting the batch program that actually creates the mod, and the batch program installed with this tool can also be used directly at the command prompt to create the mod.

Features:
The features of the mod creation itself are as follows, as described in the batch program's instruction manual.
- You can create an individual character voice mod for all the target characters.
- You can select two to all characters arbitrarily, mix them together, and create a voice mod in which one of them at random speaks at the timing of the voice playback during the game's combat. For example, if you mix character A with character B, either A or B will speak. You can create any number of mixed voice mods.
- You can choose which character to speak when receiving radio chats (quick commands) from other player ships from the following options. When sending, only the character selected as your character will speak. This is a common setting for all voice mods that the tool creates at that time.
- Only selected own character(s) (If you select more than one character, all of them)
- All of target collaboration implementation characters
- All of target collaboration implementation characters except the selected own character
- None (No one speaks at all)
- This tool allows you to create voice mods that coexist with sound effect mods. If you have a prepared configuration file for a sound effect mod with its sound file, you can combine them. If the sound effect mod has voice settings in its configuration file, they will be ignored and not combined. This is also a common setting for all voice mods that the tool creates at that time.
- In the voices that come with officially sold or distributed collaborative character captains, some of the voice playback events are not supported and are silent or play the default male voice. This In the voice mods created by this tool, those unsupported parts are assigned a different voice with a similar meaning as possible, and the default voice is adjusted so that it does not play.
The tool also provides the following features not available in the batch program.
- All options that can be specified when executing a batch program can be configured in the tool via GUI.
- When executing mod creation, the batch program corresponding to the selected collaboration title and display language is automatically selected. After the batch program is started, no operation is required until the process is completed.
- Multiple folder locations where WoWS is installed can be registered in advance, and the mod installation destination can be specified simply by selecting it as needed.
- The contents of each option item you set can be saved as up to 10 profiles. Saved profiles can be recalled at any time.
Setup:
Make the tool available in the following ways:
Download and execute SetupVoiceModTool.exe and follow the instructions to install the necessary files. The selection will automatically create shortcuts in the Windows Start menu and on the desktop.
How to use:
Execute mod_voice_mix_tool.exe from the Start menu or Explorer, etc. to launch the tool. You can launch the exe file directly or from a shortcut to it.
- Click on the "Select" button to specify in the dialog the target WoWS installation folder where you want to install the voice mod, or enter the path to the folder in the input field. Then click the "Add" button to add the path to the list below. The path selected in this list will be the target of the installation when the mod is created.
Just entering the input field does not make it a mod installation destination. To remove a path from the list, select it and click the "Delete" button.
- Select from the list the name of the target collaboration title for the character for which you want to create a voice mod. Changing this selection will initialize all configuration (3-7) below it. If you wish to initialize the configuration without changing this selection, click on the "Clear" button on the right.
- Select a character with the "Select" button to create a voice mod for a individual character. Multiple targets can be selected, but a individual character voice mod will be created for each.
- You can set up to create a voice mod that mixes two or more characters. You can set up multiple mixed voice mods to be created in a single run of creation. To add a new setting, click the "Clear" button to initialize each entry field, enter a name of your choice (up to 30 characters) in the "Name" field, and select the character you wish to mix by clicking the "Select" button below it.
Once they are determined, click on the "Add" button and make sure that the name of the setting you entered appears in the list on the left. Once you have added a setting to the list, you can select it (click on it) to edit it again. When editing is complete, click on the "Replace" button. If you no longer need a setting in the list, select it and click the "Delete" button to delete it.
- Select the behavior for receiving radio chats common to each voice mod you create. (Details are explained in "Features" above.) In the column to the right of the "Select" button, you can select the characters you wish to include or exclude from the target characters by selecting them individually.
If you select "Only selected own character" or "None" the character specified here is forcibly included among the speaking characters, and if you select other than those, the character specified here is forcibly excluded so that it does not speak.
- When this checkbox is checked, if a voice mod with the same name already exists in the installation when the mod creation is executed, it will create a mod with a different name without overwriting it.
- Checking this box allows you to integrate another sound effect mod into the voice mod you are creating. Since a separate sound effect mod and a voice mod cannot be used at the same time, this feature makes it possible.
In the dialog that appears after you check this box, specify the mod.xml file that is the setting file for the sound effect mod you want to integrate, or the zip file that contains all the files of the sound effect mod, or enter the path to the file in the input field.
- In the Profile menu, you can save the settings in the window (2-7 above) as a profile, load a saved profile, or delete a saved profile.
Open: Loads the profile of the selected number. The settings in the window before loading are discarded.
Save: Saves the settings in the window to the profile of the selected number. A check mark will be placed on the number where a profile has already been saved, and if that number is selected, a confirmation option will be displayed to ask if it is OK to overwrite the settings.
Delete: Deletes the profile for the selected number. You will be given the option to confirm that you wish to do so before deleting.
Exit: Exits the tool.
- In the Creation menu, you can execute mod creation and specify options for execution.
Execute: Executes the mod creation batch and creates a voice mod according to your settings. A window will appear showing the progress of the creation process. When the process is complete, a "Close" button will appear, and clicking it will close the window.
During the creation process, the title bar of the window may display "No response", but this will disappear after a few moments, as the process is continuing without any problems.
Allow batch updates: Select whether to allow batch program updates when the latest version of the batch program is detected to have been released before execution. Normally, check the option to allow it.
Verbose log mode / Debug mode: These checks are used to gather information to investigate the cause of a problem or other problem with the batch program that creates the mod. Check these options when instructed to do so by the tool's author. Normally, both should be turned off.

- In the Help menu, you can switch display languages and get other information.
Language: Allows you to switch the display language for the entire window.
